JAKARTA - Yura Yunita still sees the late Glenn Fredly as a very influential figure for his music career to date.

According to Yura Yunita, without Glenn Fredly, he may not be known to many people as he is today. The reason is, Glenn is the person who brought Yura Yunita into the national music industry.

Recalling the figure of Glenn Fredly, Yura is still saddened by the death of the deceased. In fact, there is still denial in his heart.

"I really lost him. Everyone who doesn't really know us has lost, especially since we are close friends. We have a lot of warm memories with Kak Glenn," said Yura Yunita in Senayan, Central Jakarta on Tuesday, October 10.

"It feels difficult, until now I feel like I'm still denial," he continued.

Yura recalled Glenn Fredly's last words to him. He saw that there was an implied meaning of what was said.

"I've never told this before, it feels like we just talked yesterday, there are many messages from Kak Glenn and Yura. He said, 'Yura, Kak Glenn want to rest ah', 'Hah, why? It's impossible'," said Yura Yunita.

"He said he wanted to be behind the scenes, he was tired. And it turned out that there was a purpose behind that," he added.

The memories with Glenn Fredly are summarized by Yura Yunita in a song called Angle Memories. However, he rarely performed the song in his appearance.

For some reason, Yura Yunita still feels sad memories behind the song.

"So, this song was only taken once, there were no repeats. This song is also rarely performed, because it weighs so much for me. It's very personal," concluded Yura Yunita.
