JAKARTA - Noel Gallagher recorded a secret dance song with CamelPhat. The song has not yet been completed.

DJ CamelPhat and producer Dave Whelan confirmed to the 'Wired' column The Daily Star [via MusicNews] that the dancer duo has teamed up again with the band leader High Flying Birds for a song.

They previously worked with former Oasis star in their 2020 song, Not Over Yet.

"We also made a great song with Noel that sounds like when The Beatles went to India," said Whelan.

"This shows a sitar that we recorded with a very talented Israeli musician," he continued.

As previously reported, Noel is very busy working on his new album Council Skies (2023) so he doesn't have enough time to finish the song.

Originally, the song was meant to be featured on the new album CamelPhat, Spiritual Milk.

Vokal Noel is incomplete. He was happy if we got another vocalist to finish the song, and we tried it. We used five different vocalists, but only Noel's voice sounded right. For now, the track is there," Whelan added.

"We are happy if Noel wants to finish it for his own music or if he finishes it for us we will respect whatever Noel's decision is."

To note, during the COVID lockdown, Gallager took rare steps to work with several other artists in the new music, including a collaboration with Dizzee Rascal and Imelda May.
