Ozzy Osbourne Cancels 2020 North America Tour Again

JAKARTA - Singer Ozzy Osbourne canceled his North American tour, entitled No More Tours 2. Quoted from Ozzy's official website, the tour was canceled because Ozzy will be undergoing treatment from the illness he suffered recently. This is the second time the Black Sabbath vocalist has canceled the tour after last year's first.

The plan, he will go to Switzerland for treatment. In 2019, Ozzy suffered from Parkinson's, pneumonia and had a fall at his residence. And the treatment this time will take a while, reaching six to eight weeks.

In his statement, Ozzy thanked fans for being patient with the cancellation of his concert tour.

"I don't want to start a tour and then cancel events at the last minute, which is unfair to fans," he said.

The 71-year-old singer will release her 12th studio album, Ordinary Man, on February 21. This album is his newest project after 10 years ago he released the album Scream.

The work of this album was assisted by many musicians such as Duff McKagan from Guns N 'Roses, Chad Smith from the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Slash, Tom Morello from Rage Against The Machine, Charlie Puth, and Post Malone (Posty).

Ordinary Man contains 11 tracks with several tracks of Ozzy collaboration with Elton John in the song Ordinary Man and Posty for the track It's a Raid.

Previously, Ozzy was a collaborator on Posty's Hollywood's Bleeding album, Take What You Want. The track is also included in Ozzy's latest album.

Meanwhile, in addition to the new album, Ozzy will also be featured in the documentary Biography: The Nine Lives of Ozzy which will premiere at the South by Southwest Film Festival in Texas. He is also preparing an album listening event globally on February 20 to celebrate his latest album.
