Guitarist Aerosmith, Joe Perry Will Release MKII's Sweetzerland Manifesto Album

JAKARTA - Recipients of the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame and four-time Grammy winner, Joe Perry released a new single, Fortunate One, featuring vocals Chris Robinson of The Black Crowes.

Written together and recorded in London with Joe's sons Tony and Roman, the song contains a blues riff that glides over the garu piano as Robinson's sandy delivery plays. Achieving climax, Joe's deftly guitar playing was replaced by charming solo fillings.

Founder, lead author and producer of Aerosmith and Hollywood Vampires, as well as one of the most influential guitarists of all time, Joe is also excited to share news about the release of his new album on May 26, Sweetzerland Manifesto MKII through Roman Records.

This full album will be available through all streaming services (DSP) and also in the form of a disk. This new album includes six new songs and alternative vocals performances and mixing from the previous version.

"We have so many songs and with everything going on with Vampires, Aerosmith, COVID-19, no tours, and tours, this music continues to accompany me," Joe notes.

"It feels like a train engine is not going to stop. I want to get these songs out, and the idea to add them to the release of the disk or the luxury version turns into MKII. This is one of the recordings I can play from front to back live."

Sweetzerland Manifesto MKII serves as the perfect companion and spiritual successor to Sweetzerland Manifesto who is original. Joe wrote and recorded most of the material for both versions at Johnny Depp's home in Los Angeles in 2017.

Over the past few months on "Sweetzerland", he experienced a wave of creativity and welcomed various collaborators into the group, including vocals of David Johansen (New York Dolls, Buster Poindexter), Robin Zander (Cheap Trick) and Terry Reid. Johnny served as executive producer, while producer Aerosmith Jack Douglas, Bruce Witkin and son of Joe Tony and Roman also contributed in production.
