JAKARTA - Budiraya is back with a new single titled Mariana which was distributed on various digital streaming services on March 24.

"Hi, as of yesterday (March 24, 2023), after a long process, we also released the latest single (finally...)," they said via Instagram.

"Please go to your favorite digital platform!"

According to a written statement received by the editors, this song has become a new role for their career as a music group. Because, unlike the previous mini album Malacca, this time they came with new formations and experiments.

Among them are Fazrin Mustakin (guitar and vocals), Hadi Permana (bass and background vocals), Teguh Sulistyo (guitar and vocals), Anggi Rambe (guitar and vocals), Rahmad Arifin (drums and vocals), and Hary Hutajulu (background sports and vocals). Thus, they have new creative energy in the process of cultivating works.

The three new personnel are not a new name on the national music scene. Anggi Rambe is a former Skalie guitarist and my brother MyGosh, then Rahmad Arifin is a Sentimental Moods drummer and former drummer ofskaline, finally Hary Hutajulu is a multi-instrumentalist and producer.

The three of them also tried several new things from a technical point of view in this song. For example, making analog delay sampling from the stock box, including pads & pizzicato violin sound emulation, combining telecaster and stratocaster sound on one track, and others.

So, with the development of works from a technical point of view and tools, they hope that this new step will be able to roll around in the future.

For information, a number of names involved in the production of this song are Hessa Bastian (mixing-mastering), Fazrin Mustakin (notation, lyrics, arrangement), Teguh Sulistyo (producer), and Hadi Permana (arrangement).

All of these processes were recorded at Studio P35, a studio for their subscriptions at BKT, East Jakarta, belonging to the artist from Sentintal Moods, Yuri Farchan, who also acts as a sound engineer as well.
