JAKARTA - Napalm Death vocalist Mark "Barney" Greenway broke his leg in the middle of the 2023 Campaign For Musical Destruction European tour in Munich, Germany on 19 February.

However, he still appears to entertain fans while sitting on a chair in front of the stage.

During the Napalm Death concert on February 26 in Paris, France, the 53-year-old vocalist told about the incident he experienced.

"[I] had a broken ankle on stage in Munich seven nights ago. So I have five more weeks to do this, but I will make the most of it," he said.

"It doesn't need to be said, maybe there is a choice for me not to do a show, but that's not what I did or didn't do. I want to go [and play a show], and that's it.

"So, once again, I apologize and thank you for your previous patience."

Previously, during the 2019 Napalm Death tour with Sick Of It All and Municipal Waste, Greenway also suffered an ankle right injury.

Last year, Barney told Knotfest that his love for Napalm Death would not stop him from fatigue or injury.
