Wow! Michael Sweet And Dave Mustaine Will Collaborate

JAKARTA - In a new interview with Australia's "Scars And Guitars" podcast, Michael Sweet of rock legend Kristen Stryper confirmed that he spoke with Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine about a collaboration plan.

"I thought it would be unique and pretty cool," Sweet said.

"We've talked about it in text messages - and on the phone. And I mentioned how much I wanted to write musical material with him, and he said that he had a lot of ideas he had built. over the years, and he could give me some ideas, riff ideas.

"I don't know if he wants to remain anonymous or not, but I kind of threw it away by just talking about it now, so if that really happened, I think people would know," Sweet continued.

"I respect Dave as a songwriter and an artist, and I think, or at least I hope, he respects me. And I think it will be very interesting for him and me to collaborate and write something together. I think it will be really great; it will be great."

Mustaine and Sweet have publicly revealed their friendship over the years. Dave even wrote a description/quote for Sweet's autobiography, Honestly, in 2013.

"Sometimes you see someone or something and you think you already know everything, just to know that you're pretty far from the base. It's a annoying feeling. I've learned a long time not to judge books from cover, and as I used to think I'm not like Michael Sweet, I realized that the two of us had a lot of the same difficulties, trials and misery, the same band problem, and some of the same relationship issues," wrote Dave.

"Fortunately for us, we both believe in the same Jesus, and serve the same extraordinary and loving creator, so it's no wonder we both will stand on the side of the same life victory, after all the smoke disappears at the end of the fight. I hope you enjoy the memoirs and arrive at a new understanding and new appreciation from Michael Sweet," concluded Mustaine, who grew up in Saki Jehovah but was reborn in Christian trust.
