GrausiG Releases Abandoned Forgotten & Rotting Alone, Now More 'Sick "

JAKARTA - Jakarta-based death metal troop GrausiG re-released the album Abandoned Forgotten & Rotting Alone, marking 20 years since the original version was released. Titled Re-Abandoned Forgotten & Rotting Alone, this album was a special request from metalheads, which included a new song.

The Omens Of Titanic Martyrdom, Horrendous Dead In Xenodochium, Thy Of The Damned, Father Of The Flesh, Embalmed Crucifixion, and ....... Dismemberment are now being delivered by the formation of Balonk (vocals), Mame (guitar), Ewin (bass) ), and Denny (drums). This album is dedicated GrausiG to their former vocalist, James Budianto (1974-2017).

Standing on the foundations of the alliance of Suffocation and Deicide, this time GrausiG features a number of guest metalheads to add to the explosiveness of each composition. Metalheads such as Pipink (Straightout), Andre Tiranda (Siksa Kubur), Robby Agam, and Atenx (Panic Disorder).

"Re-Abandoned is a cruel album that has been waiting for two decades, contains songs that are very enjoyable to re-record and show how outdated material is packaged and presented with the current lineup (2019) and it is certain that this will be a much better offer. heavier and more fun, "said Denny, drummer GrausiG told VOI.

Without changing the arrangement of the five old songs, GrausiG recorded and retouched the audio side of the tracks to make it sound much fresher. The main purpose of the re-release of this album is indeed to be introduced to today's metalheads, who at the time the original version was released they were not yet born.

In terms of lyrics, this album features dark-themed songs. One of them is about hypocrisy which is clearly described. Meanwhile, in terms of music, as a band that carries the death metal genre, GrausiG is determined not to highlight certain parts or instruments.

"The overall arrangement with a fast tempo and heavy sound system aims to form a harmony," said Denny.

For that, Denny emphasized, this re-recorded version of Abandoned Forgotten & Rotting Alone is worth listening to because it was recorded with a better sound system and tempo than the initial release. In addition, this album also contains elements of death metal music that are not the same as other Indonesian death metal bands.
