Rahmania Astrini released Untitled's newest song, which is a remake of a song by Maliq & D Essentials. The soloist who is familiarly called Astri revealed that he performed the song that was released in 2005 together with Andri Guitara and Bintan in 2017.
"Untitled is really a friend of confusion when I was in high school. I am honored to get a chance to remake one of the most terrorlable songs from Maliq & D Essentials and make this my version," Astri said in a press statement received on Friday, October 21.
The Untitled version of Astri has an R&B Soul feel, different from the original version which is minimalist with acoustic guitar instruments. In this four-minute song, Astri collaborates with Petra Sihombing as producer.
The production process for this song is quite short, which is about a week. Interestingly, the process of recording this song was made when Astri was studying in the Netherlands which became a challenge for her herself.
"The difference in timezone between me, Sis Petra and the team is quite complicated but very exciting. This is my first time working on a song remotely but it was very fun and fresh," he said.
Untitled became the first remake song from several other songs to enter into the latest project between Warner Music Indonesia and Maliq & D Essentials. Other songs will be released in stages in the near future.
"Rahmania Astrini can execute her song very well. The lyrics in Untitled's song, which is the strength of the song, are conveyed well," said Widi Puradiredja, a representative from Maliq & DEssentials.
Meanwhile, Astri joined the Warner Music Indonesia record label since 2017 when he released his debut single Menua Bersama.
