Reviving With A New Formation, KOLKEN Releasing Our Single Male

JAKARTA - A rock band from Jakarta, KOLKEN, has released a new single titled We Men Men. A hard rock contoured song with a splash of dashing guitar distortion, male bass beats, and slapping drums.

Kita Men Laki was created by KOLKEN guitarist, Krisnandra Adhiguna and released by KOLKEN Music. This is the opening gate to their next singles.

"The music I play is energy. Hopefully our song We Men can bring positive energy to Indonesian music lovers," Krisnandra told VOI, Friday, January 24.

Meanwhile, Rucky, the bassist and founder of KOLKEN, said that Kita Men men had a special message for Adam. Namely, about how to deal with trials and solve any problems that come your way.

"In the song Kita Laki Laki, there is a message on how to solve problems. Hopefully those who enjoy it will be an inspiration on how to deal with all the trials and tests of life, "said Rucky.

Looked back a little. KOLKEN was formed in Jakarta on May 1, 2010 with the formation of Rucky, Ylur, Oscar, and Turbo. The name KOLKEN is quite unique, as it stands for 'Kolor Kendor', the name chosen because of jokes from the band members. Initially, they played the rock and roll genre.

In 2012, Rucky et al released an album titled Main Rear under the label HP Records & CMID. The album's title track became their flagship single.

After having experienced several personnel changes, in 2015 - after leaving HP Record & CMID - KOLKEN released the single Puspita. Two years later, with a new formation, the band released their single Move On.

In mid-2019, KOLKEN evolved again, this time fronted by Rucky (bass), Krisnandra (guitar), Mattheo Grunge (vocals), Ricky (guitar), and Gilang (drums). This formation has survived until now.

With a background of different musical tastes, KOLKEN personnel give new colors to the materials they make. This can be heard clearly in their famous single, We Men.

"I hope this song Kita Men Pria can raise the spirit and awareness of young people who are struggling through the ocean of life with all its obstacles. And that giving up is not the attitude and character of a real man," said Mattheo, the owner of the vocal character.
