JAKARTA - The vocal group Putih Abu Abu released a mini album titled Tribute. Through their latest work, they sang five songs by Melly Goeslaw.

The five songs are Bunda, Bimbang, Ayat-Ayat Cinta, Cinta and Butterfly which were released last March. Of course, these five songs were performed with the White Abu Abu version.

“This EP tells about friendships that have chemistry, support each other in joy and sorrow. But then there is conflict. They are friends who should side with," said Alma, one of the White Abu Abu personnel.

"Here we educate young people in friendship, where many examples of friendships are destroyed instantly when their respective egos appear," he explained.

Each track becomes a continuation story from one song to another. But this time they are championing Love as the main track.

"In making this EP, you really shouldn't have your own ego, learn to respect time and other people," explained Intan, another member.

Therefore, Putih Abu Abu also prepared a music video concept with a continuous story. The main focus is the story of the six of them friendship that is peppered with conflict.

"The outline is about the six of us friendship with the spices of love. In the single 'Cinta' this is the cover of the story of the video clip of the previous songs. We all have a role and act in every video clip," added Karin.

This is not the first time that Putih Abu Abu sings Melly Goeslaw's song. Previously they had sung Like Heaven and Maybe. Both covers received positive appreciation from the public.

The mini album Putih Abu Abu, Tribute can now be listened to digitally.
