JAKARTA - Ahead of their comeback with a new album, the Bangtan Sonyeondan group or known as BTS introduced their new project, CONNECT, BTS.

This is a global project that connects five cities and 22 artists who combine philosophy and imagination in them. This project will build a relationship between art and music as well as artists and their audiences.

CONNECT, BTS is a BTS project that contains a collective curated around the world in line with BTS's goals and philosophy. The first project launched on Tuesday, January 14th features CONNECT, BTS: ONLINE and CONNECT, BTS: LONDON.

Together with Jakob Kudsk Steensen, an artist from Danish became the first curator to present his art. Titled Catharsis, this artwork is a digital simulation of a growing forest.

Catharsis which is part of CONNECT, BTS: LONDON will be held from January 14 to March 6 at Serpentine Gallery, London. The other four countries that followed are Berlin, Buenos Aires, Seoul and New York. BTS also conducts interview sessions with artists that can be watched through their website.

Meanwhile, BTS is gearing up to release their latest album titled Map of the Soul: 7 on February 21. The comeback video trailer, which lasts three minutes, starts with member Suga singing Interlude: Shadow.

In the trailer, Suga also reveals how difficult it is to live with the popularity he has currently achieved. The video has been watched by more than 38 million viewers and will still increase with trailers from other members.
