JAKARTA - The legendary rock band from Semarang, Powerslaves, made another surprise.  The song Bayang was re-recorded with English lyrics, according to the original version.

The Indonesian version of this song is on the third album, Kereta Rock N 'Roll, which was released in 1998. This song is in first place in the album. But apparently, this track is not the original version.

The original version, at that time, was still a demo with English lyrics. Shortly before the recording, the song was changed to Indonesian lyrics to fulfill the request of the record label at that time, Warner Music Indonesia.

"Apart from the lyrics that have gone through the refinement stage, in the current version, there are no drums. There are only cymbals to sweeten them," Powerslaves explained to VOI, Monday, September 7.

The English version of Bayang was recorded two weeks ago. Now, they are working on the finishing touches on a few parts to perfect the song arrangement.

With the title, You Got Me, for those of you who like classic rock bands, such as the Rolling Stones, Bon Jovi, and Aerosmith, you are guaranteed to find the sensation of their song.

Are you curious to hear the full version of You Got Me? Let's wait for further news from Powerslaves.
