Best Selling Harry Styles Album Of 2019

JAKARTA - In the midst of low physical album sales, former One Direction group member Harry Styles has been different. Just released on December 13, his second solo album, entitled Fine Line, sold close to 500 thousand copies.

This achievement certainly cannot be separated from the promotional strategy carried out by Styles with his record label, Columbia Records. Starting from the distribution of posters in the London area as well as the promotion of the fictional tourist site Eroda Island in order to promote the single Adore You, everything is done every week leading up to the release of this album.

Nielsen Music reports, as many as 478 thousand albums sold in parts of America on the weekend of December 19. The sales helped to establish Styles as a solo singer who achieved high sales over the past four years both in America and Europe.

The album's sales consisted of 393 thousand physical copies, 83 thousand digital plays, which is equivalent to 108.7 million streams of songs in the Fine Line and 3 thousand physical tracks sales.

This success also made Fine Line perched at number one on the Billboard 200 album chart. Following on from the success of Styles' first album which also reached number one in its release year two years ago. At that time, Styles sold more than 230 thousand albums, followed by 193 thousand copies in his subsequent sales.

So far, Styles is the third musician to get the biggest album sales after Taylor Swift through Lover and Post Malone with his Hollywood's Bleeding.

Styles not only released the Fine Line album on CD and digital, he also provided a vinyl version (vinyl record) which was very well received by fans. More than 28 thousand copies have been sold, making it the fourth biggest vinyl sales since Nielsen Music was created in 1991. This last achievement was achieved by Adele, who successfully sold 31 thousand copies of 25 albums.

Outside of music sales, Styles also announced the title Love on Tour as part of the promotion of the Fine Line album to various parts of the world. So far, only Europe and America have been confirmed, while Asia and Australia will be announced next year.
