Stepping Through Ozzy Osbourne's Dark Times In Under The Graveyard's Music Video

JAKARTA - Heavy metal dedengkot Ozzy Osbourne released a cinematic music video for his newest single, Under The Graveyard. In the process, vocalist Black Sabbath is back in collaboration with the famous film director, screenwriter and music video director Jonas Åkerlund. Previously, they worked together in the music videos Let Me Hear You Scream and Gets Me Through.

This semi-autobiographical video was filmed in Los Angeles and features actors Jack Kilmer (as Ozzy Osbourne) and Jessica Barden (as Sharon Osbourne). Set in the late 1970s - in the early part of Ozzy's solo career - this clip shows the darkness of life and how helping hands and love can change everything.

"For Under the Graveyard, Jonas developed the story into a 'mini film,'" said Ozzy. Launching Blabbermouth, Friday, December 20.

"But, to be honest, it was hard for me to watch this music video because it took me back to the darkest times of my life. Thankfully, Sharon was there taking me (out of the dark) and believing in me. the time he's been there to fully support me and rebuild me, but it's definitely not the last. "

Last week, Under The Graveyard snatched the top spot on the US Rock Radio charts. This marks the third time Ozzy has topped this chart and the first in 10 years. Under The Graveyard is Ozzy's first solo music in recent years. This also marks the newest album 'The Prince of Darkness', Ordinary Man which will be out via Epic Records in early 2020.

Last month, Ozzy released his second single Straight To Hell featuring Guns N 'Roses guitarist Slash. Ozzy also joined Post Malone in performing his collaborative song, Take What You Want to the audience of The Forum in Los Angeles (21 November) and at the American Music Awards (24 November).

Ordinary Man was recorded in Los Angeles and featured producer Andrew Watt on guitar, Duff McKagan (Guns N 'Roses) on bass, and Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers) on drums.
