JAKARTA - Yamaha is holding the 2026 CLASSY Modifest again, which this time greets Bandung, West Java. Taking place on June 13-14, 2026, this event collaborates with BBQ Ride, an annual custom culture festival that has been part of the Bandung creative ecosystem since 2013.

This collaboration presents an atmosphere that is in line with Bandung's character as one of the trend centers of the scene, creativity and lifestyle in Indonesia. As a city known for its creative culture and dynamic community, Bandung is the right location for the Yamaha CLASSY Modifest.

This is in line with the character of the Yamaha Fazzio Hybrid and Grand Filano Hybrid which are not only a means of mobility, but also a medium of expression of the user's lifestyle.

Chief of Yamaha DDS 2 West Java, Fitri Agustadhi, said Bandung has a strong character as a creative city that produces various trends, communities, and lifestyle industry players.

"This spirit is in line with the Yamaha CLASSY Modifest, so the collaboration with BBQ Ride and various brands of kalcer is the right step to present a platform that not only showcases modification creativity, but also connects automotive with fashion, music, and urban culture," he said, when met in Bandung, Saturday, June 13.

"Through this collaboration, we want to strengthen the position of Classy Yamaha as part of the lifestyle of young generations who are active, creative, and expressive," he added.

Unlike the previous series in Surabaya, the Yamaha CLASSY Modifest Bandung this time was dominated by the Vintage Rally Sport concept, a blend of classic motorsport nuances with a modern adventure touch that is currently favored by the younger generation. As one of the kiblat of motorcycle modifications in Indonesia, Bandung again shows the creativity of the modifiers through various inspiring works based on Yamaha Fazzio Hybrid and Grand Filano Hybrid.

From the dozens of participating works, the judges chose the best modification based on concept, quality, aesthetics, and its suitability with the character of the Yamaha Classy line. In the Yamaha Grand Filano Hybrid category, the title of Best of The Best was won by Erick Changger through the Japanese Retro Style concept.

Inspired by Japanese people's commuting culture, the modification combines soft colors, chrome accents, and functional accessories that present an elegant classic look, without sacrificing comfort and practicality for everyday use.

"Yamaha Grand Filano Hybrid has a classy design from the start, so I just need to add a touch of Japanese Retro Style to strengthen its classic character without reducing comfort and function as a daily motorcycle," said Erick Changger.

Meanwhile, in the Yamaha Fazzio Hybrid category, the Best of the Best title was won by Rudi Ismail with the Mooneyes Style concept. Adapting the visual identity of the iconic American custom culture, this modification not only emphasizes a unique and characterful appearance, but also pays attention to the comfort, safety, and performance of the vehicle. The end result is a Yamaha Fazzio that stands out with a strong character, but is still functional for use in daily activities and community activities.

"Yamaha Fazzio Hybrid is very flexible to be modified. I chose the Mooneyes Style concept because it was able to present a strong and different character from others, but it is still comfortable and functional for everyday use," said Rudi Ismail.

Kalcer Brand and Exciting Activities Gather At CLASSY Modifest Bandung

Yamaha CLASSY Modifest Bandung not only presents a row of inspiring modified motorcycles, but also becomes a gathering space for various creative elements that color the culture of the Bandung scene and lifestyle. Various brands such as Pickers Service x Mooneyes, Riders And Rules, Maisonmoto Supply, and Riders Inc. also enlivened the event, strengthening the position of CLASSY Modifest as a collaborative platform for creative actors across industries who have the same spirit of expression and innovation.

A special collaboration was also presented with Burgerkill in celebration of the 31st anniversary of the legendary Bandung metal music group. This form of collaboration is a form of Yamaha's appreciation for one of the icons of alternative culture that has become part of the creative identity of the city of Bandung for more than three decades.

The excitement of the event is complete through various interactive activities such as Arcade Challenge, Classy Scream, Street Football Competition, Freestyle Ball Challenge, and 10 Seconds Shoot Goal Challenge. Visitors were also treated to performances from the Yamaha Youth Community (Y2C) West Java who also showed the spirit of creativity and community togetherness.

Through the Yamaha CLASSY Modifest 2026, Yamaha continues to provide a platform for Fazzio Hybrid and Grand Filano Hybrid users to express creativity, expand community networks, and strengthen the relationship between the automotive, fashion, music, and lifestyle worlds that are now increasingly merging into the lives of young Indonesians.
