JAKARTA - After being successfully held in Bali, the Yamaha CLASSY Modifest 2026 is back and successfully held in Surabaya or for the first time in the Hero City.

This special modification event for the Yamaha Classy line was enthusiastically welcomed by Yamaha Fazzio Hybrid and Grand Filano Hybrid users, as well as the two-wheeled modification lovers community.

The high participation is seen from the various modified works displayed with a very varied concept. From classic retro, functional adventure for daily mobility, sporty, to pop culture and anime style, all participants managed to show creativity in modifying the Yamaha Classy scooter according to their respective characters.

Chief Yamaha Area Terr. IV, Tintan Gunawan, revealed that Surabaya really brought a new color to the Yamaha CLASSY Modifest. This is the first time that the Yamaha Classy modification event has been held in this city.

"We see a very lively and strong sense of creativity from the participants. Interestingly, the Yamaha Fazzio Hybrid and Grand Filano Hybrid are not just modified, but are actually reinterpreted according to the lifestyle and character of each owner," he said, in an official statement received, Wednesday, June 10.

From the series of Yamaha CLASSY Modifest 2026 in Surabaya, the creativity of participants on the Yamaha Fazzio Hybrid and Grand Filano Hybrid lines once again showed a strong and diverse character, where these two scooters became the main medium to express modification ideas that not only highlight aesthetics, but also prioritize function and comfort of daily use. In line with that, the high participation of participants can be seen from dozens of works that entered the jury curation stage, as well as confirming that the Yamaha Classy line is a flexible medium for modifiers to explore the ideas and characters of their users.

From the total of dozens of participants who participated in this modification contest, as many as 20 best works from each category of Yamaha Fazzio Hybrid and Grand Filano Hybrid managed to advance to the final judging stage until finally producing the winners in each category.

In the Yamaha Fazzio Hybrid category, the Best of the Best title was won by Adrian Setiadi through the "Titanium" concept which presents a unique color combination with a stand-out look without neglecting the functionality aspect. The use of rainbow color gradation applied in the layout on all sides of the body, coupled with a graphic touch of fire that is not too conspicuous, gives the impression of an unfinished look but is still aesthetic, minimalist, and visually appealing.

Meanwhile, the same spirit of exploration is also reflected in the Yamaha Grand Filano Hybrid category, which presents works with more diverse characters, ranging from elegant approaches to more expressive and daring interpretations of lifestyles. This shows how Grand Filano is still able to be a strong personalization space for its users.

In this category, the Best of the Best Grand Filano Hybrid award was won by Christian Bobby Chandra from Malang with the concept "Punk". Inspired by the figure of Sid Vicious, the legendary bassist from the British punk rock band, known as one of the icons of the world's punk culture, this work appears bold with the dominance of black, rust effects, and calligraphy details drawn manually in the style of a tattoo studio, but still harmoniously blended with the elegant character of Yamaha Grand Filano.

The Yamaha CLASSY Modifest 2026 series will continue to the next city, namely Bandung and Makassar on June 13-14, 2026.
