Honda Edukasi Vehicle Educates More than 17 Thousand People about Safety Riding Throughout 2025

JAKARTA - Honda motorcycle main dealer Jakarta-Tangerang PT Wahana Makmur Sejati (WMS) continues to strengthen its commitment in building a culture of driving safety. From January to December 2025, WMS' Safety Riding Promotion program recorded 17,327 people had received driving safety education.

This achievement is a real contribution from the company in reducing the risk of traffic accidents, especially for motorcycle users. The education program is carried out in a structured manner by targeting various segments.

Starting from basic levels such as kindergartens, schools and universities, companies, Honda communities, to government agencies. WMS develops an approach according to the participants' characters so that the material is easier to understand and has an impact on daily driving behavior.

Through this campaign, WMS emphasizes the importance of awareness, attitude, and responsible driving skills as the main foundation for creating safe traffic. The public is invited not only to obey the rules, but also to be able to manage risks on the road.

The educational material is also designed to be comprehensive and applicable, including an introduction to traffic signs, driving ethics on the highway, to safe driving techniques according to traffic conditions. Participants are also equipped with the ability to anticipate dangers and make decisions when faced with certain situations on the road.

In addition to technical understanding, education also emphasizes the importance of risk management while driving, such as reading potential hazards, maintaining a safe distance, regulating speed, and physical and mental readiness before driving.

"Our safety riding education is given to shape a safe mindset and driving behavior from an early age. The goal is not just to understand the theory, but how participants are able to apply the principles of safe driving in daily activities, so that the risk of accidents can be minimized," said Head of Safety Riding Promotion PT Wahana Makmur Sejati Agus Sani, in an official statement, Monday, January 19.

WMS considers this program in line with the big goal of realizing Safety Indonesia. With increased awareness and driving skills, the number of traffic accidents involving motorbikes is expected to be significantly suppressed.

Road safety, according to WMS, is a shared responsibility that requires the collaboration of all elements of society. As part of a long-term commitment, WMS also operates a Safety Riding Center that has been standing since 2012 in Tangerang.

The WMS Safety Riding Center is a driving safety learning center with an area of around 5,400 square meters and is equipped with practice tracks according to safety standards. There is also an education room for theoretical learning, as well as a practice motorcycle unit, both automatic and manual types.

"We appeal to all motorcycle users to always prioritize safety in every journey. Starting from obeying traffic rules, using complete driving equipment," said Head of Technical Service Department (TSD) of PT Wahana Makmur Sejati Benedictus F. Maharanto.
