Kawasaki Ninja 1100SX 2026 Launched in India, Here's the Price and Changes

JAKARTA - Kawasaki officially launched the 2026 model Ninja 1100SX in India. Interestingly, this flagship sport-touring motorcycle is marketed at the same price as the previous model, namely 14.42 lakh, or equivalent to Rp. 269 million (off-the-road).

Even though there is no increase in the price tag, the update still comes through new visual touches and compliance with the E20 emission standard. This step is part of Kawasaki's strategy in updating all its product lines to the 2026 model year (MY26).

As reported by Rushlane, Saturday, December 27, the most noticeable change is in the color scheme. The 2026 Ninja 1100SX is now available in the Metallic Brilliant Golden Black/Metallic Carbon Gray scheme, replacing the Metallic Carbon Gray/Metallic Diablo Black combination on the MY25 model.

The typical green accent of Kawasaki which previously dominated is now replaced by gold, giving a more elegant and premium impression. The brown nuances on the top of the fairing and fuel tank are also the main visual differentiator compared to last year's version.

Outside of appearance, the Ninja 1100SX character is still maintained as a sport touring motorcycle that is friendly for long trips. The driving position is relaxed, the engine vibration is well damped, and optimal wind protection thanks to the full fairing and high windscreen.

The integrated pannier system and USB Type-C socket on the handlebars further confirm its orientation as a long-distance touring motorcycle. Kawasaki's typical Diamond-style aluminum frame is still the backbone, combined with Showa USD front suspension and rear monoshock with long-distance preload settings.

The braking system relies on dual discs in the front and a single disc in the rear with Tokico calipers, complete with dual-channel ABS. The electronic features are also complete in their class.

Starting from slip and assist clutch, throttle-by-wire with cruise control, traction control, two-way quick-shifter, to IMU-based Kawasaki Cornering Management. Driving information is displayed via a 4.3-inch TFT panel that already supports smartphone connectivity.

The matter of the power plant is still loyal to the 1,099 cc four-cylinder in-line liquid-cooled, DOHC engine, with a peak power of 136 PS and 113 Nm of torque. This engine is combined with a 6-speed transmission, with the 5th and 6th gear ratios made longer for comfort when touring.
