JAKARTA Ducati officially started the production of the newest generation Monster at the Borgo Panigale factory. This model is the successor to the icon that has been present since 1992, sticking to the philosophy of Everything you need is on this bike, as it is for more than three decades has succeeded in establishing the global community Monsteristi which continues to celebrate the character and identity of the Monster.

This fifth-generation Monster comes with a design that is fully updated, lighter, more modern, yet retains the classic element that makes it easy to recognize. Valve gap checking intervals reached 45,000 km, becoming a new standard that helps reduce maintenance costs. The skeleton structure has also undergone major changes. The machine now functions as a structural element and is combined with a monocoke frame, a Panigale V4-style double ayun arm, and a technopolymer subframe.

This refinement cut the weight by up to 4 kg, so that the dry weight becomes 175 kg which is lightest between the four-valve Ducati models. The effect is felt in the agility, stability, and ease of control.

Suspension Showa is designed to provide a balance between daily comfort and sporty performance on winding roads. Ducati emphasized that this motor remains stable, safe, and fun to drive in various conditions.

In terms of ergonomics, Monster 2026 offers a more friendly driving position. The seat height is now 815 mm and can be lowered to 775 mm using a low seat and accessories kit. Higher and more advanced devils make control more comfortable, while increasing driver confidence.

Driving technology is also improved. Monsters offer four modes, namely Sport, Road, Urban, Wet' following full electronic packages such as DTC, DWC, EBC, and ABS cornering. All functions can be accessed through ergonomic handle and a 5-inch TFT screen that supports Ducati Multimedia System and Turn-by-turn navigation.

Road and Road Pro display mode ensures that information remains clear in various conditions of light. Ducati Performance presents various accessories for owners who want to strengthen the character of Monster, ranging from carbon fiber components, engine aluminum, to Alcantara-coated sports seat.

Sports fans can also choose the homologation exhaust of Term fire with titanium shells and carbon tips, which reduce weight (-0.2 kg) and actually increase the character of Monster. Monster 2026 will be available at dealers starting February 2026, with different availability in each country.

Two color options are offered, namely Ducati Red and Iceberg White for the Monster and Monster+ variants equipped with windshield and rear seat covers. Ducati also provides a variant of 35 kW for A2 license holders.
