JAKARTA Japan's Suzuki today on its social media page officially announced the arrival of the latest model of their iconic motor, Suzuki KATANA 2026, which promises a perfect combination of very distinctive designs and leading technology.

The neo-retro-style sports-touring motorbike is scheduled to launch on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, and will be priced at 1,683,000 yen (around Rp. 182 million).

In general, the 2026 KatANA model update retains a strong mechanical identity, but enriches the experience of driving through feature updates, especially in the display and electronic rider-aid section.

Sharp And Capturing Sword Design

As the name implies the sword, KatANA 2026 brings the philosophy of "A Cut Above" with a design that is immediately recognized and emits a sharp aura. Suzuki claims to have deployed all of their technological capabilities to create a unique, uncompromising design.

Sharp lines and flow from the tank to the front muzzle (front noise) are specially designed to remind the shape of the legendary Japanese sword.

Meanwhile, the LED headlights reminded the original GSX1100S KatANA elbow design, and were equipped with LED positioning lights that resembled the spearhead.

Suzuki promises, the combination of unique beauty with a strong driving sensation and bending will make Katana 2026 different on the streets.

The Heart Of Pacu And Sophisticated Technology

Behind the classic look, KATANA 2026 is armed with a modern machine that is violent. This motorbike carries a liquid-cooled 4-cylinder DOHC engine (DTB1) with the same capacity and engine architecture of 998cc, which has a compression ratio of 12.2:1.

The resulting power is astonishing for a naked/sport-touring style motor. KatANA 2026 is capable of vomiting a maximum power of 110 kW (150 PS) at 11,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 105 Nm at 9,250 rpm. This motorbike has also been equipped with a fuel injection system (Fuel Injection System).

Despite carrying a classic design, the 2026 KatANA cockpit feature is very modern. A concise, light, multi-functional instrument panel provides a variety of important information for motorists, including Speedometers, Tachometers, Odometers.Dual trip meters, dental position, water temperature, remote indicators (range indicators). Lap time mode, fuel consumption, mode transaction control (TC), and SDMS (Suzuki Drive Mode Selector) mode.
