Involve 300 Units, Polytron Electric Motor Community Breaks MURI Record

JAKARTA - Electric motorbikes are increasingly in demand by many people, the proof is that many new communities were born that were not just touring, but also recorded a new history by breaking the muri record.

The community titled Polytron Electric Vehicle Riders (PEVR), users of this electric motorcycle managed to record a new history in Indonesia by succeeding as the first in breaking the MURI Record (Indonesian World Record Museum) for 'Most Electric Motorcycle Charging from One Brand'.

This activity involved more than 300 units of Polytron FOX Electric electric motorcycles, the event, which was initiated by the Polytron FOX Electric user community, is a tangible manifestation of the increasing size of the electric vehicle ecosystem in the country. This activity was held on October 25-26, 2025 in Sumedang Regency.

This activity is part of the PEVR National Jambore, which commemorates the 50th anniversary of Polytron and 2nd anniversary of the PEVR community. This activity also brought together more than hundreds of Polytron electric motorcycle users from various regions in Indonesia.

This record initiative reflects that Polytron FOX Electric electric motorcycle users are now widespread throughout Indonesia, with nearly 40,000 users and hundreds of them gathering today to celebrate the spirit of togetherness, experience sharing, as well as set the record for the most historic charging electric motors.

In addition, this event is the inauguration of the PEVR Community (Polytron Electric Vehicle Riders) as the first electric vehicle community to be officially registered as a member of the IMI (Indonesian motorcycle link).

PT PLN (Persero) West Java Distribution Main Unit (UID West Java) as the main partner in this activity provides full support for the smooth process of mass charging.

"PLN is committed to providing reliable electricity infrastructure throughout Indonesia, including the provision of SPKLU (Public Electric Vehicle Charging Station) which is increasingly wide. Collaboration with communities such as PEVR shows how people play an active role in encouraging a real net energy transition," said General Manager of PT PLN (Persero) West Java Distribution Main Unit (UID) Sugeng Widodo, in an official statement received, Tuesday, October 28.

In terms of business actors, Polytron appreciates the extraordinary initiative carried out by electric motorcycle users, and is proud to see how the PEVR community grows to be a positive driver in the national electric vehicle ecosystem.
