IPONE Launches Three New Lubricants With Advanced Formulation For Daily Motorcycles And 4-Tak Scooters

BANDUNG - PT Motul Indonesia Energy (MIE) as the principal lubricant IPONE in Indonesia officially launched three variants of motor lubricant for the Indonesian market. This launch was held exclusively at the IRON PIPE Builders Motoshow 2025 which took place on 19-20 July 2025 at Laswi Heritage, Bandung.

The three new products from the IPONE lubricant line include IPONE M4, IPONE M4 SCOOT, and the latest version of IPONE R4000 SCOOT. All three are specially designed to meet the needs of 4-Tak-Daily motorcyclists and scooters.

The three new products are IPONE M4, IPONE M4 Scoot, and IPONE R4000 Scoot, each designed to meet the specific needs of modern motorcycle engines," said Brand Manager Motul Indonesia, Kahfi Irawan, in his statement, Thursday, July 24.

IPONE M4

Formulated for 4-Tak-jek and daily sports motorcycles, available in viscosity of 10W-30, 10W-40, and 20W-50, with 1L and 0.8L packaging options. Using high quality additives and meeting JASO MA2 standards and SN APIs, IPONE M4 maintains engine cleanliness and stable performance in heavy traffic conditions.

This lubricant is specially designed for 4-tak motorcycles with engine capacities >100-200 cc such as Yamaha R15, R25, MT-15, Honda CBR150R, CBR250RR, as well as duck and trail motors with recommended cc.

"IPONE M4 offers optimum protection against high temperatures in urban and tropical climates, making it ideal for daily use, as well as advanced IPONE additives can maintain engine cleanliness and stable performance in heavy traffic conditions", explained Kahfi.

IPONE M4 Scoot

A special lubricant for a 4-Tak scooter, available in the 10W-30 & 10W-40 viscosity with 1L and 0.8L packaging. Standard JASO MB and SN API, M4 SCOOT is designed to provide optimal engine protection and smooth and efficient acceleration, ideal for daily scooters on city streets.

"IPONE M4 Scoot carries premium additive formyla for the optimal protection of automatic 4-Tak scooters, efficient consumption of oil and reducing exhaust emissions. Implementing optimal performance and acceleration for CVT machines," continued Kahfi.

Based on the specifications, the M4 Scoot IPONE is recommended for various popular automatic scooters in Indonesia, such as Honda Vario, PCX, ADV, Scoopy, Yamaha NMAX, Aerox, totaling, Fazzio, and Suzuki Burgman Street 125.

IPONE R4000 SCOOT

Then, lubricant IPONE R4000 SCOOT 10W-40 is a new variant that replaced the previous product SCOOT 4 10W-40. The latest version of IPONE's semi-synthetic lubricant for modern scooters and maxi Scooter, is now coming with the highest standards of SP and JASO MB APIs.

Available in 10W-40 viscosity, 1L and 0.8L packaging, IPONE lubricant R4000 SCOOT is designed to provide long-term protection, high performance on long trips, and responsive acceleration suitable for daily use and touring.

"IPONE R4000 Scoot is here as a choice of semi-synthetic lubricant plus which is designed for premium and daily scooters.
