Yamaha Tricity 300 Comes With Tipis Refreshment

JAKARTA - Yamaha has just given a light refresher to its flagship three-wheeled scooter Tricity 300 in Japan and is starting to order on July 31 with a tag of 1,045,000 yen or the equivalent of Rp115 million.

It is known, Yamaha Tricity 300 began to be marketed in Japan for the first time in September 2020. This is the top model of the Tricity series, which uses a two-wheeled model or LMW (Leaning Multi Wheel). LMW technology is here to give the experience of driving everyday feels a little more confident and much more comfortable thanks to its stable three-wheeled configuration. It is even able to corner perfectly like a two-wheeled motor that can move flexibly.

Don't expect a big revolution, because previously this motor update was also thin. Meanwhile, this update focuses on details that keep the essence of comfort and confidence that Trocity has been offering from the start. The core mechanical part of the engine is maintained, a wise decision given that its performance has been very good and tested.

Launching Rideapart, Thursday, July 17, the main update made by Yamaha is adjustments to meet the latest emission standard, namely Euro5+. This was achieved through a slight revision of the exhaust system. This change ensures that the Tricity 300 remains relevant and environmentally friendly without sacrificing its already known performance. Although there is a slight increase in weight, it does not affect the driving experience or handling that has become its trademark.

In addition to technical updates, Yamaha also introduced a new color selection that refreshes the appearance of Tricity 300. Now available in White Metallic 6 and Pastel Dark Gray options. This subtle but stylish color selection helps modernize the appearance of the motor and provide a new visual identity without eliminating its unique original design language. This is a smart way to maintain traction without having to completely overhaul.
