Yamaha Gear Ultima 125 Hybrid Officially Launches At A Price Of IDR 19 Million, New Machines And Rich Features

JAKARTA - PT Yamaha Indonesia Motor Manufacturing (YIMM) officially launched Gear Ultima 125 which received a myriad of changes, both in terms of design, to the engine area and of course already carrying hybrid technology.

President Director & CEO of PT Yamaha Indonesia Motor Manufacturing (YIMM) Dyonisius Beti, said the launch of Gear Ultima was a special gift because it was well prepared, a medium price and suitable for the middle class who needed a motorcycle.

"Today we see that when we are in the middle class, we need a great, strong, and efficient motorbike. So this is really a new motorbike, with a new hybrid engine and full LED lights. The price is affordable, and of course this is an ultimate product," he said, at the launch in Bandung, West Java, Friday, March 7.

In design, Gear Ultima 125 hybrids look compact. On the front there is a sein light which has a unique application. The front lights also look sporty, especially since they are all LED.

The Yamaha Gear Ultima Hybrid comes in two variants, namely hybrid s and hybrid. The S hybrid variant comes in two colors, dark gray and silver, while the price is priced at IDR 21,500,000.

Then the hybrid variant comes in four color choices, such as dull blue, sand, black and red. The lowest variant is sold at a price of Rp. 19,990,000. (OTR Jakarta).

This motorbike is now equipped with a 125cc Blue Core hybrid engine, a single cylinder, capable of producing a maximum power of 6.2 kW / 6.500 rpm and a maximum torque of 10.6 Nm / 4.500 rpm.

Many interesting features are offered, such as Electric Power Assist Start making acceleration smoother and more steady, especially on inclines. For the highest variant, it can be connected to smartphones through the Y-Connect application, then there are answer back system features, lcd speedometers, and hazard lights. The capacity of this automatic motorcycle gasoline tank itself is already large as much as 5.1 liters.
