Scomadi Successfully Follows Body Dragbike With Technica 150i Racing, Take A Peek At Technical Modification

JAKARTA - The British classic motorcycle brand, Scomadi, has won a milestone in Indonesia by successfully participating in the Bogabike Bodisa racing event which was held at the end of 2024 with a Technica 150i Racing motorcycle.

The model has been modified in such a way to participate in the competition with racer Fermin Arasyid by winning the 201-meter class race in the 9.5-second bracket category.

General Manager of Sales Scomadi Indonesia, Aditya Ardianto said that the participation of Technica 15i Racing in the competition proves that this model has superior abilities and is able to outperform its competitors.

"With the Scomadi Technica 150i model, we see that the performance and resilience of this motorbike is able to outperform its competitors," Aditya said in a statement received on Friday, January 17.

After successfully participating in the Bogbike Bodisa competition, Aditya hopes that Scomadi can participate in other national racing events while strengthening the existence of this brand according to its dignity.

"We will continue to support the race with Scomadi by 2025 and look forward to greater success," he added.;

The motorbike was taken to a racing event by the Scomadi Zplus team named 'Frozen Blau' with several improvements in terms of performance and resilience in the race track.

The Technica 150i has a body part made from Carbon Fibre Reinforced Plastic (CFRP) in order to reduce weight so that it plays a role in improving its performance on the race track. Wrapped in the 'Frozen Blue' paint option, the scooter has a unique appearance while stealing attention while speeding on the track.

In addition, the motorbike is equipped with several improvements consisting of the front and rear suspensions of Ohlins, then the front brakes of Brembo and the back of the RCB S1, as well as the presence of Domino Throne Kit.

Then, his performance was also improved with the help of the Aracer ECU RC Super X, Racing Valve Spring, 31/26 Titanium Valve, and improved engine compression 1:13.5.

The standard version of Scomadi Technica 150i is equipped with a 124.6 cc single-cylindrical SOHC engine which is able to speed up at the highest speed of 96 km/hour. The motorbike is here for the Indonesian market with a price tag of Rp. 67 million.
