Triumph Introduces Two New Speed Twin 1200 Models, Here's The Advantage

JAKARTA - British two-wheeled vehicle manufacturer Triumph Motorcycles announced a significant update on the Speed Twin 1200 model and launched the Speed Twin 1200 Hospital with good design and performance.

According to the manufacturer, the style of the motor has been refreshed by combining contemporary sports elements with modern classical design DNA and displaying beautiful details so that it features the characteristics of Triumph.

"At Speed Twin 1200, we ensure to maintain superior handling and a classic style that everyone admires, as well as introduces extra power and technology that improves performance. The experience of driving seamlessly," Triumph Chief Product Officer Steve covered, said on the brand's official website, Wednesday, September 18.

Meanwhile, the hospital trim offers pleasure in driving. The driving position is more ergonomic thanks to the change in the handlebar position and footrest at the back, combined with a fully tunable Marzocchi fork and Ohlins rear suspension unit.

To optimize driving capabilities, manufacturers pair RR K3 Metzeler Racetect tires for hospital types and the Triumph Shift Assist system for the first time in a Modern Classic motorcycle.

Speed Twin 1200 is offered in striking graphics with visual 1200 in the tank with a combined two-tone Crystal White above and Carnival Red below. The bike is also offered with a more classic Aluminum Silver.

Then, the hospital as the highest type received two color patterns, namely Baja Orange or Saphire Black. Both were given gold RS stickers.

These two motorbikes have a high-compression Bonneville 1200 engine that provides additional power of up to 5 ps. Thus, the engine can provide 105 ps of power at 7,750 rpm and a maximum torque of 112 Nm.

Despite having a classic impression, these two motorbikes are equipped with a number of advanced features. Drivers can adjust the engine response to Road and Rain driving modes and get a number of functions such as Optimized Cornering ABS and trajectory control.

Meanwhile, the type of hospital that focuses on driving pleasure has additional mode, namely Sport. This mode works in sharpening the thrust response and optimizing control control traffic so as to increase the impression of being energetic and dynamic in vehicles.

The two motorbikes will arrive at a worldwide network of dealers in December 2024, with Speed Twin 1200 soldo worth 12,495 (Rp252.9 million) and Speed Twin 1200 RS for 14,495 (Rp293.3 million).
