JAKARTA - The Honda Racing Corporation (HRC) officially announced that it will take part in the FIM E-Xplore racing event, an international electric motorcycle racing series with CR ELECTRIC PROTO.
Quoting from Honda's official website, Monday, February 5, Koji Watanabe, President of Honda Racing Corporation, said that often with the increasing importance of Honda's commitment to carbon neutrality, HRC decided to take part in the FIM E-Xplorer World Cup, a new category of electric off-road motorcycle racing in motorcycle sports.
"By accepting the challenges of the new electric motorcycle racing series, HRC will hone its technology in the real world, gather and knowledge, and accelerate human resource development. We hope you look forward to Honda's efforts," he said.
Later, the HRC Team will be represented by the 2024 Dakar Tosha Schareina (Spain, 28) and Italian WMX champion Total Nocera (Italy, aged 30).
