Denza, a premium brand under the auspices of BYD, officially introduced the latest Denza D9 MPV model 2026. This car comes in six variants with a price tag ranging from 359,800 to 469,800 yuan, or equivalent to Rp909 million to Rp1.18 billion.

BYD said the latest model is built on a new hybrid MPV platform that was specially designed. The flagship technology brought in includes the second generation Blade battery with Flash Charging capability, God's Eye 5.0 intelligent driving system, and the latest generation of AI-based smart cockpit.
In appearance, the Denza D9 2026 has a more modern and elegant design touch. The front grille now features a new chrome accent, while the exterior color options are more diverse, consisting of five solid colors, two color combinations, to the limited edition Dark Night Gilded Gold equipped with an emblem coated with real gold.
In terms of dimensions, this MPV has a length of 5,250 mm, a width of 1,960 mm, a height of 1,900 mm, and a wheelbase of 3,110 mm. All variants use 18-inch rims.
Thanks to a hybrid platform that integrates the exhaust system into the front, the trunk now has an additional hidden compartment of 126 liters, bringing the total storage capacity to 882 liters.
Entering the cabin, a significant improvement can be seen from the presence of up to 10 screens inside the vehicle. These features include a 10.25-inch digital instrument panel, a 21-inch head-up display, a 15.6-inch main screen, to a front passenger screen with an innovative design that can function as a small desk.

In terms of comfort, the front seats are equipped with electric, ventilation, heating, and massage settings. The second row seats are available with the Zero Pressure Cloud Velvet option which offers 16-point massage, while the third row also offers ventilation and heating features.
Other additional features include a Devialet audio system with 30 speakers as well as a smart refrigerated storage compartment. For the drive system, the Denza D9 2026 is available in two options.
The plug-in hybrid (DM-i) version combines a 1.5T engine with an electric motor, producing a fuel efficiency of 6.35 liters per 100 km and a pure electric range of more than 400 km. Meanwhile, the pure electric version (EV) comes with front-wheel and all-wheel drive options, with a range of up to 800 km.
All variants are also equipped with advanced DiSus-C suspension and an intelligence-based anti-distraction system. Additional safety features include high-speed stability control and a side wind effect restraint system.
Unit delivery to consumers is scheduled to begin at the end of May. Since its debut in August 2022, the Denza D9 has become one of the best-selling new energy MPVs in China, with total sales of hundreds of thousands of units and the achievement of 300,000 vehicle distribution in November last year.
