Electric Car for Rp147 Million Wuling Bingou Pro Can Be Ordered

JAKARTA - SGMW officially started pre-sales of its new Binguo Pro in China which starts from 58,800 yuan or around Rp147 million, and is scheduled to officially launch in the second quarter of this year.

Quoted from the Carnewschina website, Wednesday, April 15, positioned between the existing Binguo and Binguo S, the Binguo Pro fills the product gap in Wuling's small EV lineup. This vehicle has a five-door, five-seat layout with DC fast charging function in all variants.

Closer to the Binguo Pro, this model comes with a modern retro design thanks to the round LED headlights with a three-segment curved light strip. The side profile combines a semi-hidden door handle and petal-shaped wheel rims, while the rear features a small retro-style spoiler and a rectangular ruby-textured taillight.

The body dimensions have been increased to a length of 4,050 mm, a width of 1,758 mm, and a height of 1,580 mm, with a wheelbase of 2,560 mm. Compared to the current Binguo, the length and width have increased.

Entering the cabin, the interior offers 25 flexible storage spaces along with a special front trunk, umbrella slot, magic hook, and wireless mobile charger pad. Interior color options include Light Cream, Chocolate, and Caramel Coffee.

The Binguo Pro is powered by a front-mounted single motor that produces 65 kW (87 hp), representing a 30 percent increase in power compared to the current 50 kW (67 hp) Binguo motor. The top speed reaches 130 km/h.

Lithium iron phosphate batteries are available in 31.9 kWh and 37.9 kWh capacities, respectively, corresponding to CLTC ranges of 330 km and 403 km. DC fast charging can recharge the battery from 30 to 80 percent in 15 minutes. The system also supports the 3.3kW VTL function for outdoor power supply.
