Isuzu V-Cross 2026 Officially Launched with 4WD Drive and New Features

JAKARTA - Isuzu India officially introduced the Isuzu V-Cross 2026 in the Indian market with a price tag starting at Rs 25.50 lakh or Rp472 million (ex-showroom). This pickup truck has received a number of visual updates and feature improvements.

With this configuration, this model will face off directly with rivals in the same segment, such as Toyota's pickup truck. In terms of appearance, the 2026 Isuzu V-Cross brings a slight revision to the front.

The grille is now equipped with a black lower lip accent, while the bumper is more simple with minimal layers. The cosmetic lower protection plate accent is removed, but the LED projector headlights and fog lights integrated in the bumper are still retained from the previous generation.

The update continues to the side with the use of a new design 18-inch alloy rim. Isuzu also removes the black wheel arches and side body cladding, so that the appearance looks cleaner.

Entering the cabin, the improvement is more significant thanks to the presence of a floating 10.3-inch infotainment touchscreen. This system already supports wireless connectivity via Apple CarPlay and Google's Android Auto, replacing the 9-inch screen on the previous model.

The contrast trim accents on the dashboard and door panels have also been removed. In addition, the 2026 Isuzu V-Cross is equipped with a 360-degree camera, tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), and an audio system with eight speakers.

The main safety devices are still maintained, including six airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Traction Control System (TCS), and Hill Descent Control (HDC). All variants are equipped with 4WD system with automatic locking differential as standard features.

Performance is still based on a 1.9-liter turbo 4-cylinder diesel engine that produces 161 bhp at 3,600 rpm and a peak torque of 360 Nm at 2,000-2,500 rpm. This engine has met BS6 Phase II emission standards and is paired with a choice of a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission. A 4WD shift-on-the-fly feature is also available across all variants.

The Isuzu V-Cross 2026 is marketed in three variants, namely 4WD MT Z, 4WD MT Z Prestige, and 4WD AT Z Prestige. With a gross vehicle weight of 2,510 kg, this pickup is offered in seven color choices, including Silky White Pearl, Black Mica, Red Spinel Mica, Nautilus Blue, Galena Grey, Silver Metallic, and Splash White.
