JAKARTA - The Suzuki Jimny 5-Door will be presented in a different guise at the 2026 Tokyo Auto Salon exhibition. DAMD, a modification company from Japan, is bringing something new from the iconic car.

Citing the Autoindustriya website, Tuesday, January 6, DAMD is actually no stranger to changing the Suzuki Jimny. It has even been transformed into a mini-sized Defender, mini G-Wagen, and Renault 5.

In the 2026 Tokyo Auto Salon event, DAMD will once again showcase its ability to change the appearance of the Jimny. So what's interesting?

This time, the tuner turned its attention to the Jimny 5-Door, which received a Lancia-style modification touch. Although this is not the first time that DAMD has taken inspiration from the Italian car manufacturer, this is the first time that the Jimny 5-Door has received a Lancia touch.

With the Lancia-like front view, the DAMD Armata gets a look inspired by the Delta Integrale thanks to the distinctive round headlights and grille and a different front bumper.

Then it is equipped with classic-style yellow fog lights, integrated front under guard plate, truck-style side mirrors, OZ alloy wheels wrapped in off-road tires, new mud flaps, and additional lights on the roof.

No engine modifications were made to the Armata DAMD, so it still comes with a 1.5L four-cylinder naturally aspirated inline engine that produces 100 PS with 130 Nm of torque.

This machine can then be paired with a four-speed automatic transmission or a five-speed manual transmission with a selectable 4WD drive. Interested in the new touch of the Suzuki Jimny 5-Door ala DAMD?
