JAKARTA - Nio launches a limited edition for the ET5 and ET5 Touring electric sedans due to the increasing demand for the sedan series in China. The two models are named Far Sky Edition.

This limited edition is priced starting at 313,000 yuan or a range of Rp742 million including a 100-kWh battery pack. Under the BaaS (Battery as a Service) package, the initial price is 205,000 yuan or Rp468 million with a monthly battery rental fee.

Chinese customers who purchase the limited edition ET5 and ET5 Touring models before December 31 will receive benefits including 48 free battery exchange service vouchers and five years of free NOP+ (Navigation in Pilot Plus) driver assistance features.

Even though it has officially launched, Nio did not immediately send units to consumers and will send them starting at the end of this month.

His presence marks Nio's latest attempt to expand its popular sedan lineup. From January to November, the ET5 Touring delivered 43,006 units, accounting for 15.48 percent of Nio Inc's total deliveries during the period.

Meanwhile, the ET5 delivered 15,116 units in the first 11 months, contributing 5.44 percent of the company's total deliveries during the period.
