GAC Aion N60 Appears In China With A Character Similar To Zeekr Mix

JAKARTA GAC Aion is back in the spotlight after a photo of its latest electric model homologation, Aion N60, circulated in Chinese regulators. This compact minivan-shaped electric car appears in a modern design language that at first glance reminds Zeekr Mix, especially on the body line and the proportion of the front.

Based on leaked documents, Aion N60 has a length dimension of 4,615 mm, a width of 1,860 mm, and a height of 1,673 mm, with a wheelbase of 2,775 mm. The silhouette combines mini-van and SUV elements thanks to the use of a plastic trim in the ferry area, higher ground clearance, and a rear front overhang angle of 17 and 24 degrees, respectively.

His front look carries a modern EV style: a closed grille, a horizontal LED light, and a flush model door handle. Charging ports are placed on the right fender, while frameless mirrors are additional details that confirm their appearance.

The back has a simple design with elongated lights, small roof spoilers, and wipers. For its performance, Aion N60 is equipped with a 100 kW electric motor which is equivalent to 134 horsepower.

Launching from Carnewschina, Saturday, December 6, the electric motor is combined with an internal GAC-made LFP battery, although its capacity has not been disclosed. This configuration shows that the model is directed for commercial use or fleets instead of high performance.

The vacant Aion N60 weighs 1,630 kg, while the gross weight reaches 2,075 kg. The cabin is designed for five passengers with simple but modern layouts, including a large in-medium floating screen and a camera module under the windshield.

The LiDAR option on the roof is also available to support driving assistance features. The model is predicted to enter the Chinese domestic market next year with an estimated price starting at 100,000 yuan or about 14,140 US dollars.
