Jaecool Handover J5 EV To Consumers, Part Of National Delivery

JAKARTA - Jaecool Indonesia has started sending J5 EV units to consumers, this is marked through the Handover Ceremony at the 2025 Gaikindo Jakarta Auto Week (GJAW) event.

This symbolic ceremony that took place at Main Stage Jaecoo, the 8C Hall 9 ICE BSD booth, became an important momentum after the J5 EV recorded more than 6,000 orders in just two weeks since its launch on November 3, 2025.

The unit that was symbolically handed over today is part of a national shipment, which has been scheduled to be delivered in stages until February 2026, in line with Jaecool's commitment to ensure the first 10,000 buyers will receive their J5 EVs for a maximum of February 2026.

Jaecoo Indonesia's Business Unit Director, Jim Ma, expressed his appreciation for the public trust in Jaecoo's first BEV model in Indonesia.

"The enthusiasm for J5 EV is truly extraordinary. Strong responses in the dealer network, high interest in test drives, and the large number of visitors to the Jaecool booth during the 2025 GJAW also show that Indonesian people need a functional, efficient, and resilient electric SUV for daily mobility," he said, in an official statement received, Sunday, November 30.

He further said that this ceremony (submission of units) was the beginning of the company's journey to deliver J5 EVs to thousands of consumers throughout Indonesia.

"Of course with a thorough ownership experience," he added.

As is known, since its launch on November 3, Jaecool has still provided special prices of IDR 249.9 million and IDR 299.9 million (premium) during the 2025 GJAW as a form of commitment so that more consumers can get J5 EV at the best price. During the exhibition, visitors can also take part in purchasing programs, direct consultations, and test drives to experience the performance and features of the J5 EV.

"In the future, J5 EV will be one of the most relevant and sought electric SUVs for urban and modern Indonesian consumers, easy to use for daily mobility, comfortable for weekend travel, and practically driven with family. We always try to bring the best vehicles from all aspects, both exterior, interior, and performance," he concluded.
