This Is Renault Twingo's Look And Specification That Will Launch Soon

JAKARTA A photo leak that is believed to show Renault Twingo's latest model is circulating on the internet and immediately stole the attention of European automotive lovers. The tiny French electric car appears to carry a cute design with a retro touch reminiscent of its first generation.

From the front view, Twingo has just presented a distinctive spherical LED lamp that resembles a frog's eye, combined with a small lattice and sensors that make up a smiling expression. The bumper with a vertical accent also adds a friendly and unique character to the face of this car.

The back features a pod-like-style wide window with a backlight designed to align with the front design. This combination confirms that Renault is trying to maintain Twingo's identity as a city car with a cheerful and easy-to-recognizable character.

The interior was also revealed, visible modern cabins with two large screens on the dashboard, physical climate control panels, and a large hazard button in the middle. The touch of bright yellow on the dashboard gives the impression of playful, while dark plastics dominate other parts of the interior.

Technically, Renault Twingo will only use the AmpR Small platform, the same as used by Renault 4 E-Tech and Renault 5 E-Tech. However, in order to remain affordable, this model is reportedly using a lithium-iron-phosphate (LFP) battery that is known to be more economical than NMC technology.

Although Renault has not announced an official price, Twingo is only expected to be one of the most affordable electric cars in the European market, competing with Dacia Spring and Leapmotor T03. With an estimated price of under 20 thousand euros, this car can be priced at around IDR 330 million, as reported by ArenaEV on Wednesday, November 5.

Renault is scheduled to officially introduce Twingo on November 6, 2025. The model is believed to be a symbol of Renault's transition to the electrification era without leaving the hallmarks of the iconic design that has been attached since Twingo first arrived three decades ago.
