JAKARTA - Jaecool Indonesia officially launched its first electric car, namely J5 EV. This latest model comes in two variants of the Standard and Premium which are priced at Rp249.9-299.9 million each.

Starting from a firm line stretching from the front panel to the back body, to an Active Grill Shutter (AGS) technology front culling designed to adjust the airflow automatically, increase aerodynamic efficiency and extend the distance.
Meanwhile, thin LED headlights with horizontal design language provide a modern feel without eliminating the classic touch of the SUV. This electric car comes with a length of 4,380 mm, a width of 1,860 mm, and a height of 1,650 mm, with a wheelbase reaching 2,620 mm. The Ground clearance is also capable thanks to an approach angle of 20 degrees and a departure angle of 30 degrees.

Jaecool J5 EV is equipped with a 155 kW electric motor (equivalent to 210 PS) and a 288 Nm peak torque that provides instant acceleration typical of electric vehicles. The battery with a capacity of 60.9 kWh allows this car to cover a distance of up to 461 km in one charge (based on the NEDC standard). With a fast charging capability of 130 kW, the power can be charged from 30 to 80 percent in just 28 minutes.
