Hyundai has officially added a new variant to its flagship compact SUV, Hyundai Venue, by presenting a selection of diesel engines that are now available in the automatic transmission version. This step is the answer to market demand.
Reporting from Autocar, Monday, October 27, this automatic diesel variant will be available in two trims, namely HX5 and HX10. While the 6-speed manual version is still maintained for variants of HX2, HX5, and HX7.
The machine used is a 1.5 liter diesel capable of producing around 114 horse power and a peak torque of 250 Nm. With the presence of automatic transmission, drivers can now enjoy a more practical driving sensation without compromising the efficiency of diesel engines.
In terms of design, the new generation of Hyundai Venue appears bigger and stronger. Its height increased 48 mm to 1,665 mm, its width increased by 30 mm to 1,800 mm, and the wheelbase extends 20 mm to 2,520 mm.
