JAKARTA MINI reiterated its image as a brand that focuses not only on performance, but also on lifestyle through its latest collaboration with British well-known designer Paul Smith. This special edition will be officially introduced at the Japan Mobility Show 2025, at the end of October.

The collaboration between MINI and Paul Smith is nothing new. The two of them worked together in 1999, producing a classic MINI with a distinctive colorful line look at the designer. Now, MINI seems to want to revive the spirit in a modern version with a fresher and bolder design approach.

In a teaser video released recently, Paul Smith appears to be opening a large wooden coffin containing a mysterious car with the MINI logo. This symbolic moment marks the return of the iconic partnership between the British automotive and fashion world.

Although the official details have not been disclosed, many people suspect that this special edition car will carry the basis of MINI Cooper, MINI Aceman, or even MINI Countryman, which is now present in the full version of the gasoline and electric engine.

Meanwhile, in terms of design, the public hopes that MINI Paul Smith Edition will maintain the designer's signature identity: contrast color games, minimalist touch, and urban style that emphasizes the user's personality.
