JAKARTA - Alfa Romeo officially launched New Tonale to the international press, marking a new chapter for their first global C-SUV model. This launch is not just an ordinary update, but a directed intervention to improve the sporty character and distinctive design appeal of Alfa Romeo that has been recognized. Now New Tonale is here with more color and trim choices, perfecting brand advantages such as perfect weight balance, first-class driving dynamics, as well as advanced technology and machine solutions in its segment.

With Tonnale Baru, Alfa Romeo reaffirms its commitment to bringing Italy's advantage through innovation, design, and driving emotions. This evolution is not just about performance, it's about creating a closer relationship between car and driver, where technology increases passion and every detail reflects our legacy," said Alfa Romeo CEO Santo Ficili, in Stellantis media space, quoted Wednesday, October 15.

The most prominent aesthetic update is on the front with the presence of a new three-dimensional concave badge, inspired by 33 historic Stradales. In addition, the legendary Trilobe element is reinterpreted to maximize the horizontal impression. The proportion is also upgraded with a shorter front overhang and a wider wheel track, supported by the design of new wheels measuring 19 inches ofanibe and 20 inches of Fori that look modern and lighter.

Meanwhile, the New Tonale cabin evolves with premium materials and new details, such as the introduction of a fresh combination of colors and finishing. Among them are a seat with a 'Cannelloni' seam wrapped in red skin, or a combination of the Alcantara of two black/white colors. Luxury is coupled with iconic aluminum benchmarks at the wheel and comfort features such as a ventilated and heating front seat.

To celebrate this emotional dimension, the New Tonale color palette was also expanded to eight options, introducing three new metallic paints: Rosso Brera, Verde Monza, and Giallo Ocra, amplifying the impression of dynamics on the exterior.

The essence of every Alfa Romeo is the ability to turn technology into driving emotions, and New Tonale proves it. Annulable handling is determined by a balanced chassis, an independent suspension ofminton, a four-piston Brembo brake system, and the most direct steering in its segment with a ratio of 13.6:1.

New Tonale is now coming with an updated engine to standard Euro 6E-bis, offering a total output of 175 hp for Ibida and 270 hp for Ibida Plug-In Q4. The transition between an internal combustion engine and an electric motor is now made feelsless, for the sake of optimal comfort.

With a new lineup strategy, New Tonale consolidates its position in the market by maintaining current price levels (starting at around 40,600 euros or equivalent to Rp782 million) while introducing a new entry-level version to make it more accessible. Machine options are designed to include diverse market demands, including diesel, hybrid, and plug-in hybrid. Available variants ranging from Tonaale (entry level with complete specifications), Sprint (sporty character), Ti (premium and convenience), to Veloce (top-of-the-range with Dual Stage Valve electronic suspension).

The New Tonale is equipped with a comprehensive technology package, characterized by a rating of 5-star Euro NCAP, and offers advanced Level 2 driving assistance. A 12.3-inch Telescope digital instrument cluster and a 10.25-inch Alfa Connect infotainment system ensure total connectivity. The comfort is also enhanced with technologies such as high-resolution 360-dose cameras, ventilated wireless charging, and a 470-W Harman Kardon premium audio system with 14 speakers.
