Nissan Ariya Terbaru Will Be Exhibited At The 2025 Japan Mobility Show

JAKARTA - Nissan is ready to reveal a refresher version of its electric SUV, Ariya, at the Japan Mobility Show 2025 in Tokyo later this month.

The updated STOCK, which will launch in Japan at the end of this fiscal year, will be introduced to the public. The car offers a more subtle display, Google-powered infotainment, Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) function, and increased suspensions specifically designed for Japanese roads," Nissan announced on its official website, Friday, October 10.

This news comes in the midst of a bitter surprise for United States (US) consumers, where Nissan has just announced the suspension of Ariya's production for the US market ahead of the 2026 model year. Although the updated "temporary death" in Uncle Sam's country, Ariya provides a glimpse into Nissan's future design direction.

New Faces That Are Sharper And Seamless

It was reported that Car and Driver, from the image shared by Nissan, saw the most striking change on the front. This facelift araya clearly takes a design signal that has been seen in the Nissan Leaf 2026, which marks a major change for Nissan's smallest EV. Ariya's new look now features a black bar connecting thicker and sharper headlights. The patterned Trimgril on the previous model is now removed, replaced by a body-colored panel that provides a much smoother (smoother) front display.

The design of the front lights becomes more V-shaped with three LED lines at the bottom tilted inward. The front bumper is also made simpler, removing vertical ventilation that was previously in front of the front wheels. Although Nissan has not shared any photos of the back, this refresher version retains a black contrasted roof and a thick cladding layer around the wheels.

Although Nissan is currently stopping Ariya in the US, the launch of a much sharper and richer version of this feature shows that Nissan's commitment to electric vehicles remains strong in the global market, particularly in Japan. If Nissan decides to bring Ariya back to the American market, this electric SUV will arrive with a new face that is much fresher and more sophisticated technology under its hood.
