Aston Martin Officially Launches DB12 S, A More Violent Version Of DB12 With The Most Heavy Power

JAKARTA Aston Martin has again made a big breakthrough in the automotive world by introducing their latest model, DB12 S. Its presence continues the tradition of high performance variants such as DBX S and Vantage S which were launched earlier this year.

DB12 S comes as the evolution of the standard DB12, bringing improvements in various aspects that make it much more wild, fast, and certainly a tense sensation behind the wheel.

Behind the engine hood, it is stored at the heart of the 4.0 liter twin-turbo V8 runway, which now exhausts up to 690 bhp/700 PS, an increase of 20 PS compared to the previous version, with peak torques reaching 800 Nm. The combination of abundant power, transmission with faster dental displacements, and an enhanced launch control system makes this car able to shoot up from 0100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds for the vaccine variant, while Volante's convertible version is only one tenth of a second adrift. Its maximum speed is also extraordinary, breaking the 325 km/hour.

To ensure that such a large power can still be controlled with precision, Aston Martin equipped DB12 S with a series of technical improvements. Carbon ceramic brakes are now standardized, reducing weights from being burdened by up to 27 kg. Suspension uses re-calibrated Bilstein DTX damping, stiffer rear-bar anti-rolls, and re-tuning on wheel geometries such as scams, cassators, as well as toe to produce sharper and more responsive handles. The steering system, thrustle, and electronic back differentials also gets a refinement so that the car feels more intuitive and aggressive on the track.

In terms of appearance, DB12 S appears fiercer as well as elegant. On the front, two-element splitters are designed to increase downforce and optimize airflow around the front wheels. The engine hood now has a new air fin available in black gloss or optional carbon fiber. While on the back, there are fixed spoilers, new diffusers, as well as four vertically arranged stainless steel exhaust tips. For more liar' machine sound lovers, Aston Martin also provides an option for a lighter 11.7 kg and 1.5 dB titanium exhaust system.

Entering the cabin, the nuances of sporty and luxury are immediately felt. On the center console there is a red driving mode play button from a channeled metal, the same color is also applied to the S emblem on the exterior. The interior is available in three trim combinations that combine premium and Alcantara skin, emphasizing the exclusive character DB12 S as a high-end grand tourer.

Aston Martin DB12 S will be available in variants of couple and convertible (Volante), with first shipments scheduled to start in the first quarter of 2026.

Quoted from the Motor1 report, the official price has not been announced but the price is expected to be above USD 275,000 (equivalent to IDR 4.5 billion), considering that the standard DB12 alone has been opened from USD 250,000 (equivalent to IDR 4.1 billion).
