Mazda CX-30 Model 2026 Appears More Sophisticated, Infotainment Screen Now Bigger

JAKARTA Mazda North American Operations has finally responded to consumer complaints regarding the small infotainment screen on the CX-30 model. For the 2026 model, Mazda CX-30 comes with significant updates, including a larger screen and a new special edition that will pamper the driver.

Reporting from CarBuzz, Thursday, September 18, the biggest and most anticipated increase is the infotainment screen. Most variants are now equipped with a 10.25-inch screen, replacing the 8.8-inch screen from the previous model which was considered too small. Not only larger sizes, this new screen also adds touch features, although this functionality only applies when using Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. This improvement is expected to provide a more modern and intuitive driving experience.

Along with the screen update, Mazda also introduced a new special edition, 2.5 S Aire Edition. This variant features a classy look with a touch of bright colors on the interior, including a white synthetic leather seat with a trim resembling a gray suede. Externally, this model looks elegant with a glossy black rim and emblem, as well as a similar rail and mirror cover.

The improvement is also not only in features, but also in performance and driving convenience. The Mazda CX-30 2026 is now equipped with a differential limited-slip (LSD) based on brakes and new shock damping which is claimed to be able to increase traction and comfort while driving. In addition, the premium feature is now more accessible; the Select Sport variant now gets a wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as an 8-way electric driver seat. Meanwhile, the Premium variant is equipped with a heat steering wheel and a 360-degree camera.

For machines, Mazda still relies on the same option. The 2.5 S variant is powered by a 2.5-liter four-cylindrical engine that produces 186 stances, while the Turbo model provides output of up to 250 stances. Interestingly, the entire CX-30 2026 variant is now present with the All-Wheel Drive (AWD) as the standard, providing a sense of security and better control under various conditions. The improvement of these features and technologies is expected to strengthen Mazda CX-30's position in the compact crossover segment.

Meanwhile, the price of CX-30 in 2026 has an initial price of US$25,975 or equivalent to Rp430 million.
