Ahead Of The Official Debut September 29, The 9X Zeekr Luxury Car Piled Up Thousands Of Units At The Factory Ready To Be Sent

JAKARTA Geely's luxury car brand, Zeekr, will soon launch its largest SUV, Zeekr 9X. Ahead of its official debut on September 29, the car has reportedly piled up at the plant, signaling Zeekr's readiness to meet the very high market demand.

Previously, Zeekr 9X had opened a pre-sale period on August 29 and immediately attracted attention. In the first hour alone, this full-sized plug-in hybrid SUV (PHEV) managed to pocket around 43,000 orders, proving the extraordinary enthusiasm of the Chinese market. In fact, the price is quite high from 480,000 to 570.000 yuan (around Rp1.1 billion - Rp1.3 billion).

Luxury Specifications And Rice Performance

Reporting from CarNewsChina, Wednesday, September 17, Zeekr 9X is not just an ordinary SUV. This is Zeekr's first PHEV model, which previously focused solely on pure electric cars (BEVs). This decision was taken to follow the trend of the Chinese market which is increasingly liking plug-in hybrid vehicles.

In dimensions, this car is very large with a length of 5,239 mm and a wheelbase of 3,169 mm. Its cabin offers a luxurious six-seat (2+2+2) configuration.

Machine options are available in two variants. The basic version combines a 2.0 liter gasoline engine with two electric motors for a total power of 660 kW (885 hp). Meanwhile, the highest variant has three electric motors that produce fantastic power of 1,030 kW (1,381 hp).

With such a large power, the highest version is able to accelerate from 0-100 km/hour in just 3.1 seconds.

The Zeekr 9X interior is equipped with two 16-inch screens on the center console, 47-inch head-up display (HUD) with augmented reality technology, and a 17-inch 3K screen installed on the ceiling. For audio, the car offers Naim sound system with 32 speakers.

The photos released by Zeekr show this car is equipped with LiDAR sensors, two segments of panoramic roof, as well as a Grill design and a back pillar that has been blanked out.

In China, Zeekr 9X will compete in the premium SUV segment. After launching in China, Zeekr plans to take the model to the global market, including Europe. Its presence will be a new challenge for other luxury car manufacturers around the world.
