3 Years Of Wuling Air Ev In Indonesia: Pioneers Of Affordable Electric Cars!

JAKARTA - For three years, Wuling Air ev has been present in Indonesia and his journey can be said to be positive.

Since its first introduction in 2022, this tiny electric car has become a symbol of the transition of affordable, practical, and high-tech electric vehicles.

At the three-year celebration, Wuling reaffirmed his commitment by launching the latest variant of Air ev at the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2025, last February.

Wuling Air ev is designed by taking into account the urban mobility needs of the Indonesian people. Its compact design facilitates maneuvers on narrow roads and limited parking areas, but remains spacious for four passengers.

The latest variant comes with a 3-wheeled cover of the aerodynamic radius and a new exterior color, Starry Black, which reinforces the futuristic impression.

The latest interior Wuling Air ev also looks fresher with a 'Tamarand Sunset' feel, a warm color inspired by Indonesian spices, Javanese acid. This combination gives an elegant and comfortable local impression for drivers and passengers.

Known as a tiny smart vehicle, Air ev is equipped with various modern features that facilitate control and improve safety. Starting from Multifunction Steering Switch, Rotary Gear Selection, to sophisticated braking systems such as EPB (Electric Parking Brake), AVH (Auto Vehicle Hold), and HHC (Hill Hold Control).

Wuling also provides Air ev with smart features, such as the Indonesian WIND (Wuling Indonesian Command) language voice command system, as well as connectivity via MyWuling+ which allows owners to monitor and control vehicles digitally.

In terms of safety, Air ev is built with High Strength Steel Chassis, equipped with Dual Airbags, ABS, ESC, as well as rear parking sensors and cameras, ensuring security on every trip.

Wuling understands that convenience is not only about use, but also ownership. Therefore, Air ev is designed to be easily charged at home, with enough power of 2.2 kW. In the Pro variant, customers get Free Charging Pile AC 7kW, which can be installed at home.

Wuling also offers the Work-Free with Wuling' program, which includes Lifetime Warning for EV core components, Wuling Mobile Service services, and 24-hour Hotline Service. The move was taken to ensure the experience of having a worry-free EV.

All these prices apply to the Jakarta area as of March 1, 2025. With a very competitive price, Air ev is one of the affordable EV options in the national market. Not only friendly in bags, Air ev also supports the domestic automotive industry. This electric car is produced at the Wuling factory in Cikarang, West Java, with the Domestic Content Level (TKDN) reaching 40 percent.
