Toyota Segarkan Kijang Innova Zenix, Now More Sophisticated With In-Car Wi-Fi

JAKARTA Entering September, PT Toyota-Astra Motor (TAM) presents a refresh to Kijang Innova Zenix, both the Gasoline variant and the Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV). Toyota's mainstay MPV medium is now appearing with a touch of new features and technologies that are increasingly in line with the needs and lifestyles of modern society.

Kijang Innova Zenix has been known as the MPV of a family that offers comfort, technology, and environmentally friendly efficiency. With this update, Toyota affirms its commitment to providing vehicles that are not only functional, but also support sustainable mobility.

Vice President Director of PT Toyota-Astra Motor, Henry Tanoto, emphasized that this refresh is in line with the Multi Pathway Strategy Toyota.

"As an appreciation for customer trust, New Kijang Innova Zenix is now present with a new touch that improves driving quality while making it easier to access connectivity-based services to support daily mobility," he said, through an official broadcast, Monday, September 8.

The Outterior Remains Strong, Hybrid Emblem Becomes A HEV

Toyota maintains Zenix's exterior design which consumers already love: a tough crossover front looks, a sturdy grille, and a modern LED headlamp. The luxury Aura SUV is increasingly felt through 18 inches of rim, perpendicular A pillar, to a more sloping D pillar. In accordance with the global update, the Hybrid emblem has now turned into an HEV, confirming a more modern electrification identity.

The most noticeable update is in the cabin. All variants are now getting head unit upgrades.

Type G & G HEV: 10 inches Head Unit with Smartphone Connectivity.

Type V, V HEV, & Q HEV: Head of Unit 12.3 inches plus integrated Air Purifier control, as well as Rear Seat Entertainment (RSE) with Wi-Fi hotspot function via To Intouch.

For extra convenience, Q HEV is now equipped with Power Back Door with Kick Sensor, while camera quality & Panoramic View Monitor in all variants has been upgraded to HD Resolution. Safety features are also equipped with Tire Inflator in all types.

Recent Connectivity With In-Car Wi-Fi

The latest flagship features come via In-Car Wi-Fi Hotspots available on types V, V HEV, and Q HEV. Through the mToyota application, customers can enjoy various digital services:

Out-of-Car Connectivity: Remote Immobileizer, checking vehicles, to remote monitoring.

In-Car Connectivity: Popular multimedia entertainment access such as Spotify, Disney+, YouTube, to infotainment services such as Kompas, RCTI+, and Noice.

Collaboration with Telkomsel ensures stable connections, even for productivity needs such as video conferencing during travel.
