JAKARTA - Great Wall Motor through its sub-brand is the official Tank launching the latest Tank 500, which gets a myriad of updates and can be an attractive option.

Based on a report from CNevpost, quoted on Friday, August 29, the automaker officially launched the hybrid model at an initial price of 335,000 yuan or around Rp766 million, this price has decreased from pre-sales prices.

Tanks offer two variants of the 500 Hi4-T Tank and one variant of the 500 Hi4-Z Tank for this off-road SUV.

The updated 500 tanks were 5,078 mm long, 1,934 mm wide, and 1,905 mm high, with a wheelbase of 2,850 mm, aka nothing has changed from the previous version.

Both the Hi4-T and Hi4-Z variants are equipped with a plug-in hybrid powertrain that combines 2.0L engines with electric motors. This engine produces a maximum power of 180 kW and a peak torque of 380 Nm.

The 500 Hi4-T tank is equipped with a single electric motor with a maximum power of 130 kW. The combined power output is 310 kW, which is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.9 seconds. Both Hi4-T variants are equipped with 37.1 kWh lithium terner batteries, which provide a range of 110 km of WLTC batteries and a combined range of 900 km.

The 500 Hi4-Z tank is equipped with a dual motorbike with a combined system power of 635 kW, which is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/hour in 4.3 seconds. This car is powered by a 59.05 kWh lithium battery, which gives the WLTC battery range as far as 201 km and a combined range of 1,096 km.

The 500 tank is also added by LiDAR in two more expensive variants and combines the third generation Coffee Pilot Ultra advanced driver assistance system from Great Wall Motor.

The car caught the eye quite a bit in China, even getting 12,257 orders within two hours of its launch.
