JAKARTA The Nio electric car brand through its subbrand, Firefly, today launched a limited edition variant of its first model, Firefly EV. The special edition, dubbed the "Nomadic Medal", was released to increase the appeal of the compact hatchback with exclusive touch and very limited number.
This special edition is priced from 133,800 yuan (around Rp303.3 million), which includes battery packages. This price is 14,000 yuan (around Rp31.7 million) or around 11.69 percent, higher than the basic variant of Firefly EV.
To maintain exclusivity, reported by ChinaEVHome, Monday, August 25, Firefly will only produce 333 units. The company also announced that incoming orders today will be delivered soon.
The "Nomadic Medal" variant comes with a unique color scheme with unique low saturation, special (decal) stickers, and also exclusive rim designs. These features provide a different appearance and are more prominent than the standard variant.

Firefly EV itself was first launched on April 19 in China, with deliveries starting April 29. This is the only model currently being sold by the brand.
