Nissan Opens The First NISMO X-Trail In Japan, Combines Performance And Comfort

JAKARTA - Nissan made a new breakthrough at his home (Japan) by launching X-Trail NISMO, which was developed with the concept of a Grand Touring SUV that presents a comprehensive experience.

Nissan X-Trail NISMO embodies the philosophy of all NISMO highway cars by combining racing performance with everyday driving convenience. The aerodynamic performance and design aesthetics are inspired by racing technology, while the exclusive tuning results in an attractive driving performance.

Design Presents Strength

The design of the NISMO X-Trail embodies the strength and reliability of an SUV that is integrated with a typical NISMO style that provides impressive aerodynamic performance and extraordinary driving dynamics as a whole.

At the front, this car features dark chromo accents that stretch horizontally over the grip, blending perfectly with distinctive lights to emphasize a bold and wide position.

The bottom front spoiler, decorated with the NISMO logo in the middle, produces downforce. The bottom side of the spoiler with bright red accents reinforces this effect by expanding the negative pressure zone under the vehicle. On the back, the lower edge is in the form of a diffuser and racing-inspired back fog light evokes motorsport aesthetics.

Combined, this functional design element improves performance by generating downforce without increasing air drag.

Interior Offers Comfort And Impression Of Sporty

Equipped with a black foundation with striking red accents across the section, its interior retains the well-known comfort and practicality of the X-Trail at the same time blending premium quality and the dynamic sporty impression of the NISMO model.

For consumers who want a higher sporty impression, the NISMO modified Recaron sports seat is available as an option. This chair provides a high level of topolation to dampen body movement while tilting, helping drivers feel integrated with the vehicle. Equipped with an electric and heating clothing mechanism, the chair also offers superior comfort.

Maximum Comfort

Nissan X-Trail NISMO has been tuned to present Nissan's extraordinary cornering capabilities, fun acceleration, and fine driving. The suspension is complemented by the first Kayaba Swing Valve shock damper. This technology balances the need to minimize the body movement of the challenge specifically for high-end SUVs, while maximizing driving convenience.

The control technology of all e-4ORCE electric driving wheels is specifically tuned for the NISMO X-Trail. This technology increases the distribution of rear wheels driving and controls front tires to turn in the same direction, thereby increasing the ability to follow straight lines while accelerating at the bend. In addition, the characteristics of acceleration and front-backward driving distribution are tuned for each driving mode, providing a pleasant driving experience in various driving conditions.

The NISMO X-Trail uses a Michelin Pilot Sport EV tire, which maximizes NISMO modified e-4ORCE performance. The NISMO X-Trail is equipped with a custom-tuned vehicle control module (VCM), offering SPORT modes that prioritize responsiveness, and AUTO modes designed for medium to high distance acceleration, allowing drivers to enjoy speed and comfort in everyday scenarios.

Sales of X-Trail NISMO are scheduled to begin on September 24 in Japan.
