GWM Launches China's Latest Haval Raptor PHEV, Prices Start At IDR 390 Million

JAKARTA - Great Wall Motor officially launched the 2025 Haval Raptor PHEV or known as the Raptor Hi4 in China. This car is offered in six configurations with an initial price of 173,800 yuan or around Rp393 million.

Quoting from the Carnewschina page, Wednesday, August 20, the 2026 PHEV Raptor Hazard comes with design updates, especially on front grips, headlights, and rear lights. The front now features a square-shaped headlights with slightly smaller grips containing six rectangular black accents.

The broad light strip measuring 1,088 mm stretches under the 'HAVAL' logo, which has been replaced at the back with the brand's emblem 'GWM'. Meanwhile, the rear light has shifted from two square elements to one unit and is already LED.

The car is also equipped with a new 19-inch black multi-spoke rim fitted with Chaoyang 225/60 R19 tires. A new Mint Green color choice has been added, along with a choice of colors that are still maintained, including White, Ink Gray, Black, and Cloud Gray.

interior updates include the steering wheel of a new double bar, a transmission lever installed in the steering column, a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel, and a 14.6-inch central touch screen running Coffee OS 3. The infotainment system supports Huawei HiCar, ICCOA Carlink, and Honor CarLink.

In addition, the front seat is equipped with electrical, heating, and ventilation settings, while the back seat offers a slope of between 27 and 32 degrees. Additional interior features include panoramic sunscreen, rear solar shield, W-HUD head-up display.

The PHEV 2026 Haval Raptor is available in the trim Pro, Ultra, and Ultra Navigator. The Pro model is equipped with a rear parking radar, 360-degree camera, panoramic sunset, 50-watt wireless charging, as well as ventilation and front seat heating, with an optional W-HUD and rear differential key.

Meanwhile, trim Ultra adds standard W-HUD, rear differential key, heating steering wheel, additional speakers, one-color ambient lighting, air quality management, and plasma ionization. Then, the Ultra Navigator trim includes several front, rear, and fisheye cameras, front radar, rear angle radar, 12 ultrasonic sensors, and 32TOPS TDA4VH chips, which allow highway NOA (0150 km/hour), adaptive cruise, and full scenario memory parking assistance. Only spare tire configurations are available for this trim.

The 2026 model is powered by a 1.5 liter turbocharged (GW4B15M) gasoline engine combined with a P2+P4 dual motorcycle system. Compared to the previous 1.5T GW4B15E engine, the maximum output is reduced from 123 kW to 115 kW, while the rear motor produces 150 kW. The total system output reaches 330 kW with a 750 Nm torque, which allows acceleration of 0100 km/h in 5.9 seconds.
